Kim WatsonDirector
Kim Watson, Director for ILE, has spent over 28 years as a certified educator. She has extensive experience helping students with a range of exceptionalities, including Gifted and Talented, ADHD, Anxiety, ASD, and those with deficits in Executive Function Skills. As a founding staff member at Eaton Academy in Roswell, Georgia, Kim provided instruction to students and served as Assistant Academic Director. Her passion is being an integral part of the personal journey for each family and student she serves. Additionally, Kim holds a B.A. in Sociology from Agnes Scott College and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an Endorsement in Autism from the University of North Georgia.
Carrie, Program Coordinator for Independent Living Experience, received her BA in Psychology from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO. She started her career in 2006 as a Youth Therapeutic Counselor for at risk youth. Her Case Management experience was inspired by her goal to advocate for individuals needing a solid educational path and behavioral health supports. Carrie started in the Career Development department at the Denver CLE center in November 2014. Carrie then switched roles as the ILE Transition Consultant in Denver in November of 2016. Carrie’s interest in health and well-being encouraged her to work towards her RYT certification as a yoga instructor. Carrie has been a Vinyasa yoga instructor since 2010. In addition to her RYT, Carrie is certified in children’s yoga and yoga for athletes.
